Two or three members of the Towpath Volunteers can be seen. SAR prospective member Dave Austin was also in period attire and holding the Betsey Ross flag.
August 6, 2013 a Patriot Camp for children was held at Kings Bend Park in Pittsford, NY. Following a short participative lecture on the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the children (ages 5 - 11) put on clear transparent shower caps. Then in groups of three (because the event organizers only had three powdered wigs), children were allowed to wear a powdered wig and a tricorn hat while they "officially signed" a copy of the Declaration with a red quill pen. About 60 children took park, and the event got a Section B, front-page photo and article on Tuesday morning in the D & C.
